Tuesday, 28th November 2006 (3203 views) Asian Dragon Group has announced that mining and exploration work at its Jinjishan gold property is progressing at a "significant" rate.A review of the work at the recently acquired gold mine is being compiled at present by Christian Derosier, the president of CDGC, a geology and mining company. The testing of samples is currently taking place at the Chemex laboratory situated in north Vancouver, Canada, following submissions by Mr Derosier. Mining and exploration work at the site is focused on a tunnel that stretches for a distance of 150 metres and will ultimately span a depth of some 770 metres. Jinjishan property has a 100 tonnes per day mill in operation at the site as well as a site floatation plant and an estimate of resources at the mine in June 2004 showed an inferred mineral resource of 1 271 920 tonnes at a grade of 9.66 grams per tonne. Asian Dragon Group cites its commitment to exploration and mining operations in China and at present, particularly the Xiaoqinling region of the country.
