The results from Aurelian Resources' Fruta Del Norte (FDN) site on the Condor project in south-eastern Ecuador have been released, highlighting some "bonanza" gold grade discoveries.

Interceptions of bonanza grade epithermal veins included 763.15 grams per tonne over 1.7 metres, 43.14 grams per tonne over 5.02 metres and also 2.07 metres that had a grade of 50.67 grams per tonne.

Drilling at the site comprised seven drill holes and as well as bonanza silver intersections, the mining company found 260 metres with a grading of 6.59 grams of gold per tonne.

"These latest results give the FDN deposit a strike length of at least one kilometre and prove the system continues strongly beneath the sandstone cover to the south," stated Aurelian president and CEO Patrick Anderson.

He continued: "The intersection of bonanza grade veins at the south end of the system is extremely exciting."

Focused on the exploration, discovery and development of precious metals in Ecuador, Aurelian Resources has specifically set its sights on the Cordillera del Condor region of the South American country.
