Dynasty Metals & Mining has announced that it has returned "very promising results" at its Dynasty Goldfield, located in southern Ecuador.

The 100 per cent owned property has seen intersections of 14.01 grams of gold per tonne as well as 55.23 grams of silver per tonne over a distance of 8.5 metres.

Drilling work was focused on the Iguana vein as well as stockwork, which are both situated in the north of the Cerro Verde project.

Company president Robert Washer remarked: "Our ongoing high-grade results from exploration at the Dynasty Goldfield continue to demonstrate its potential."

"We look forward to mounting an aggressive program of resource delineation and infill drilling ahead of the preparation of new project resources estimates in 2007," he continued.

Dynasty's copper-gold belt is a previously unexplored area that is around 90 kilometres in length and has a width of 20 kilometres. There is a measured and indicated resource of gold at the property of some 424,422 ounces and an inferred resource of 427,017 ounces.
