A pair of limited-edition gold tennis rackets made by Wilson will be modelled by the Williams sisters at this year's Wimbledon, it has been revealed.

Venus Williams will play with a pure white version of the gold racket while Serena will play with a black racket.

The [KFactor racket prototypes feature real 22 carat gold leaf which is laid into the frames and 650 of Venus and Serena's [KFactor gold limited-edition rackets will be available for sale to the public at a recommended price of $500 (£250).

Furthermore, the sisters will both autograph and donate ten of the gold rackets and donate them for auction to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

"I can't think of a better place to play with a racket made with real gold than Wimbledon," said Serena Williams.

"Having special-edition gold [KFactor rackets makes us feel extra unique when we go out on court," added Venus.

A percentage of every gold racket sold will go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Wimbledon 2007 starts Monday June 25th.
