Friday, 29th June 2007 (1879 views) A film starring Josh Hartnett is to be filmed in the gold rush village of Mount Diwalwal in the Philippines, it has emerged.The film, I Come With the Rain, is slated to begin shooting later this year and some 200 local residents could be hired as extras. Gold mining in the Philippines dates back to the third century AD and witnessed a surge in the early years of the 20th century. The film stars Hartnett as a private detective who visits the Far East to search for the missing son of a Chinese billionaire. Known for roles in Black Hawk Down, Pearl Harbor, The Black Harbour and Lucky Number Slevin, Hartnett was named one of People magazine's 50 most beautiful people. I Come With the Rain is directed by Anh Hung Tran.
