Wednesday, 22nd August 2007 (2703 views) The La Martiniere gold property in Quebec has been extended thanks to drilling in the zone by exploration company American Bonanza Gold, it has been announced.American Bonanza reports that sheeted quartz veins up to a thickness of five metres have been discovered in the gold zone. Furthermore, American Bonanza has described its "excellent" results obtained at drill hole MD-07-20 containing 44.3 grammes per tonne of gold over one metre. "The La Martiniere gold zone continues to shape up very well. These results expand the southwest part of the zone with drill offsets measuring over 100 metres and that is very positive for the prospect of drilling a gold resource on the property," commented president Brian Kirwin. He added that the results highlight an area to the northeast, which the company finds "encouraging". American Bonanza Gold is involved in gold exploration and development in both Canada and the United States.
