The gold crown that was found on the head of Tutankhamen's mummified body is one of the artefacts proving a ticket seller ahead of the visit of an exhibition on the Egyptian boy king to London.

More than 190,000 tickets have reportedly already been reserved for the exhibition, which will be located in the capital's O2 Arena from November 2007 until August 2008.

In the region of 150 artefacts will be on display, aged approximately 3,000 to 3,500 years old. It will be the first exhibition at the former Millennium Dome and the first time the artefacts have been on English soil since the early 1970s.

A gold and precious stone-inlaid coffin that contained Tutankhamen's mummified internal organs is also set to feature in the exhibition, which is currently on display in the United States.

According to the exhibition website, more than two million people are expected to apply for tickets to see the treasures.
