A new gold jewellery range has been released by United Arab Emirates company Damas.

Said to be inspired by the Arabian women's "grace and beauty", the collection - entitled Al Manthourah - includes pieces crafted from 21 carat gold and hand-painted enamels.

Necklaces, earrings and bangles are all included in the new line, which is said by Damas to be marked by its attention to detail.

The defining piece in the collection is reported to be the royal pendant necklace, featuring several delicate chains which are gathered to hold a tasselled square pendant. This piece is suggested to be accompanied by a pair of stud earrings by its maker.

And the company reports that it is also introducing a subsection of the collection designed especially for children.

"The collection is one of our most exciting offerings and it does not fail to captivate with its outstanding design and craftsmanship," said managing director of Damas Tawhid Abdullah.

Founded in 1907, Damas carries famous brands such as Tiffany & Co as well as developing in-house collections through a number of exclusive brands.
