Phase One drilling results "extremely significant"Tuesday, 27th November 2007 (1817 views) Results from a Phase One diamond drilling programme on the Minas de Animas structure of mineralisation in the Orion District have been announced by Nayarit Gold.A total of seven holes were completed on the structure in the first stage of drilling, which intersected a number of mineralised zones along the site's Del Norte vein. Colin Sutherland, president and chief executive officer of Nayarit Gold, called the latest findings "extremely significant", and added that they have boosted confidence in the Minas de Animas structure. "Drilling results continue to confirm our belief that the Orion District can grow significantly and provide the opportunity to increase the size and scope of the project," he said. Situated 109 kilometres north-west of the Mexican city of Tepic, the company currently holds seven concessions for mineral exploration covering a combined land area of 101,795 hectares. Nayarit Gold is set to present at the London World Money Show, which will be held at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre on November 30th and December 1st.
