A gold pendant, entitled Journey of Love, will be unveiled during the Jewellery Collections Dubai exhibition in December by retail partners Rosy Blue and Pure Gold, according to Middle East business website AME Info.

The pendant is one of a number of gold items on show at the event, which is to be held from December 11th to 15th at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

According to event organisers, the timing of the show adds "extra sparkle", as it coincides with the Eid Al Adha and Christmas celebrations.

"It brings out the best in the exhibitors and also gives visitors the opportunity to choose from an array of international collections," said Trixee Loh, exhibitions general manager of the Dubai World Trade Centre, which is organising the show.

Two other jewellery events, Jewellery Trade Dubai and Areeq Dubai, are scheduled to be held alongside the main retail event.

The three events comprise Dubai International Jewellery Week, which is designed to provide a forum for traders, exhibitors and consumers of jewellery from around the world.
