According to the publication: "Throughout history gold has been revered for its beautifying properties." Examples offered by the news provider include the belief held by some historians that Cleopatra slept in a gold mask, as well as the use of gold massage rollers on the face by royals from the Ching dynasty. The Luxe treatment involves gold being massaged into the skin, where it is believed to remain, fighting free radicals, for up to 28 days. Combining Japanese innovation with "the purest gold", claims made by the treatment include firmer, brighter skin and reduced wrinkles.
