Key gold values had been returned from several samples taken from the Rayas mineral structure, with the best intercept graded at1.63 g/t gold over 4.55 metres. Additional intersections were valued at 2.83 g/t gold over 7.6 metres, 2.21 g/t gold over 1.55 metres and 1.25 g/t gold over 19.8 metres. There were also returns of 1.32 g/t over 6.8 metres, 0.73 g/t gold over 13.75 metres and 0.45 g/t gold over 4.55 metres. Stroud Resources president George Coburn said he was "very pleased" with the results, which indicate the mineralisation in the Rayas structure continues at depth and along strike. So far, the Rayas system has been defined to a length of around 600 metres, with sections of mineralisation of up to 125 metres. The Santo Domingo project comprises two mining concessions covering 135 hectares. It is located around 90 kilometres north-west of the city of Guadalajara.
