A new jewellery outlet is to become the first outside the United States to stock Urth gold - an ethical product mined and made in Bolivia to support small-scale miners and their families, it has been reported.

Easier.com says the outlet will be housed within The Village Shop, a flagship luxury retail development housed in the renovated stable block of Cowley Manor country hotel in the United Kingdom.

Urth gold is an ethical, fair trade product that is traced from the miner to refiner and caster before it reaches consumers. Money made from sales of the items goes directly back to the communities where the gold was mined, helping small-scale miners to improve their lives as well as invest in better mining practices.

Urth gold available at the store features a ready-to-wear collection designed by Pippa Small, which includes rings, earrings and a variety of pendants in crescent, teardrop and disc designs.

In addition to the Urth collection, there are also pieces designed by English duo Philippa Holland and Zara Simon, whose celebrity customers include The Rolling Stones, who commissioned the pair to create bespoke pieces for one of their tours.
