Thursday, 24th July 2008 (1353 views) A manufacturer of medical bracelets is launching a new line of gold IDs, it has been announced.The firm, Lauren's Hope, is making 14-carat gold IDs for people with medical conditions such as diabetes, with the intention of increasing their appeal to seniors and those with chronic conditions. Denise Gaskill, co-owner of the firm, said: "The beauty of our bracelets is that you have one medial ID tag that is engraved with your important medical information, but you can purchase an unlimited number of bracelets to interchange with the tag." Gold ID bracelets are available for children, women and men and are customisable for any condition and taste. As well as bracelets, gold dog tags, pendants, guitar picks and cuff bracelets are also available. Meanwhile, the late James Brown's medical ID bracelet recently fetched $32,500 (£16,000) at auction, where it was bought by David Letterman band director Paul Shaffer.
