Houston Lake Mining has announced that it is launching a new 2,000m drill programme on the Dubenski Gold Property.

The advanced exploration company is seeking gold deposits in Ontario and plans to select its winning contractor for the new scheme shortly.

As part of the drilling programme, Houston Lake Mining intends to extend the Dubenski shaft zone resource to a depth of 150m and technical crews are already on the project, which is scheduled to start early next month.

The Dubenski property contains an historic resource of 355,286 tonnes grading 6.32 g/mt gold and is one of eight contiguous properties that make up the 100 per cent owned and optioned 1,674 hectare West Cedartree Gold Project near Kenora, Ontario.

E Grayme Anthony, the company's president and chief executive, said: "This strategy of expanding our known resources reduces our exploration risk while achieving our overall objective of justifying an on-site mill at West Cedartree."

Houston Lake is a vertically integrated resource exploration company that is actively exploring for gold in north western Ontario with a strategic focus on the West Cedartree gold project.
