Thursday, 27th November 2008 (1539 views) International Tower Hill Mines (ITH) and Redstar Gold have announced that they have jointly increased their holdings at the North Bullfrog project in Nevada.The two companies have secured an additional 12 patented mining claims at the site in south-western Nevada and the project will become a joint option/venture. Historic Connection underground mine and the Mayflower target area where recent drilling by ITH Mines indicated significant resources of high-grade mineralisation with visible gold. Covering one of the highest priority drill targets in the district, the claims bring the North Bullfrog land package to approximately 18.6 sq km. Historic drilling and underground sampling in the region has identified an area of mineralisation with numerous five to 20m intervals at more than one g/t gold, according to ITH and Redstar. Jake Margolis, Redstar US exploration manager, commented: "We have now assembled the strongest consolidated land position of any of the previous exploration efforts at North Bullfrog." ITH is a resource exploration company focused in Alaska and Nevada, while Redstar Gold is a Vancouver-based junior exploration company with properties in Nevada and Red Lake, Ontario.
