Jewellery is "essential" for every woman's wardrobe, it has been claimed.

Rebekah Craven, an advisor for designer brand Lia Sophia - worn by celebrities such as Paris Hilton - has stated that jewellery is an important part of a female's fashion collection, especially as the festive season approaches.

"The great thing about jewellery is that there is no limit to what you can do with it. Get into the holiday spirit by choosing great styles to match what's already in your closet," she advised.

Ms Craven recommended wearing colours that complement each other, such as teaming a gold necklace with a black dress.

And she said dramatic rings, wide stretch bracelets, bangles and chunky necklaces are the "must-haves" of the season.

Meanwhile, jewellery house Damas has launched a "stunning" line of new watches, including the Kalpagraph Chronograph by Parmigiani, available in 18-c pink gold.
