Friday, 23rd January 2009 (1267 views) Sky Jewellery has announced it is to continue it expansion in the Gulf with the opening of two showrooms in Kuwait.The two stores are located in the Fahaheel district and will be the 22nd and 23rd outlets the firm has opened in the emirate. And the retailer is to launch the Kuwait version of its 'buy gold and win gold' scheme, which offers customers who make a purchase in one of the company's stores to win a share of two kilos of the precious metal that is available as a prize in the emirate. "[There] has been a long [wait] for Sky Jewellery to start functioning in Kuwait. It took three decades for me to [build] our regional presence in the country," managing director of the firm Nabu John explained, adding that customers who visit on the opening day will receive special gifts with their purchases. In related news, Pure Gold Jewellers has announced its shops in Dubai will be offering its customers discounts and free gifts as part of the Dubai Shopping Festival.
