Top designer Diane von Furstenberg has created a new range of gold jewellery with Rio de Janeiro jeweller H Stern.

The new spring/summer 2009 range for H Stern Jewelry is called the Icons Collection and features ancient symbols of special relevance to the Belgian designer.

Crafted in 18-c gold, the DVF for H Stern collection features earrings, a pendant and a charm bracelet, with a variety of charms available in different shapes.

Symbols used in the Talisman collection include a heart to represent love and strength, a gingko leaf to depict health and longevity and a Tibetan love knot for eternal love.

Diane Von Furstenberg has launched a series of designer collections with H Stern, including the Talisman, Power Rings, Sutra and Love Knot ranges.

Founded in 1945 by a German emigre to Brazil, Hans Stern, the company H Stern has become a global name in the fine jewellery industry.
