Thursday, 26th February 2009 (814 views) Welsh singer Duffy has teamed up with Clogau Gold to launch a new range of gold jewellery, it has been announced.Discussions between the Welsh gold manufacturer and the winner of three titles at this year's Brit Awards are currently ongoing, with a target launch date of the middle of this year being set, Spring Fair reports. A spokesperson for the jewellery firm told the news source that while the talks are still in the early stages, "she is keen to work with Clogau due to her Welsh background". Earlier this month Clogau, which uses Welsh gold sources from the Snowdonia region, unveiled a new range of jewellery. An 18-c anniversary ring with polished raised edges, a gold ivy pearl bangle and a sessile oak pendant are all now available from the firm, the Jewellery Weblog reports, with the pendant costing $639 (£445) and the ring and bangle both priced at $1,207.
