Friday, 27th February 2009 (1081 views) Explor Resources has announced that it has completed the initial modelling of holes intersecting its Lynx gold zone on its Eastford Lake property.The Canadian company is starting to drill at the site in order to test the strike and depth of a gold vein. Initially discovered in Hole EG-09-07, the high grade visible vein appears to strike in a north-north-westerly direction, dipping steeply to the south-south-west of the property. Located close to Lake Abitibi, Ontario, the Eastford Lake project is 90km east of the Timmins-Porcupine gold mining camp and covers a total of 3,100 hectares. Explor Resources has mineral properties in Ontario, Quebec, Saskatchewan and New Brunswick, Canada. Traded on the TSX Venture exchange, the gold exploration firm is currently focused on its 10,434 hectare land position within the Abitibi greenstone belt in Ontario and Quebec, an area where more than 180 million ounces of gold have been found to date.
