Friday, 27th February 2009 (1741 views) Supermodel Bridget Hall has been selected as the new face of Marco Bicego Jewelry in the US.The American will appear modelling 18-c gold pieces by Marco Bicego in the March issues of C, Elle, Harper's Bazaar and W as part of an international print campaign, according to the National Jeweler Network. A photo shoot has taken place in New York with fashion photographer Kenneth Willardt to showcase the designer's new Jaipur collection. Featuring gold designs with coloured gemstones, the Jaipur collection 2009-10 is modern, minimalist and inspired by nature. Marco Bicego started to work in the family goldsmiths business at 22 and learnt his trade from his father, developing innovative designs that are now the hallmark of his own brand, established in 2000. The designer describes his jewellery as blending Italian craftsmanship with "tradition, passion and imagination" to create uniquely crafted pieces that can be worn everyday.
