One gold ring 'is not enough'The news feeds on this site are independently provided by Adfero Limited © and do not represent the views or opinions of the World Gold Council. Thursday, 26th March 2009 (927 views) Women should not limit themselves to one gold ring when a variety of designs from around the world are easily available, a fashion expert has argued.Writing for the New York Times, Karla Martinez stated that the "one good piece" rule regarding jewellery is starting to become "a little threadbare" and owners should consider adding more items to their collection. "A whole handful of rings and styles suggests a brash lightheartedness toward style", Ms Martinez remarked. And she suggested that owning a variety of pieces from a number of different countries gives the impression that the wearer has "endless sympathies with interesting people around the globe". Elsewhere in the jewellery sector, examples of ancient gold pieces have gone on display at the National Archaeological Museum in Athens, with items from Greece and Italy - many of which have never been seen by the public - on show as part of the Vlastou-Serpieri Collection.
