Friday, 24th April 2009 (1493 views) Fine gold items from a range of leading designers will be showcased during this year's Coutts London Jewellery WeekTaking place between June 8th and 14th, the event will include collections from Stephen Webster, Shaun Leane, Amanda Brighton and Assya. Both established names and rising stars will be showing their designs during the week-long festival. Organisers are arranging a city-wide treasure hunt with prizes from leading jewellers and a museum trail focused on London's connection with the jewellery trade. The Goldsmiths' Company is running a Day of Knowledge, Hatton Garden will be "transformed into a bejewelled, verdant Eden" and gold jewellers will be demonstrating their skills. Meanwhile, the Forbes Galleries in New York is hosting a new exhibition entitled Time and the Jeweler's Art, which feature a number of luxury gold watches. Running from April 24th until June 27th, the show has been organised by the National Jewelry Institute.
