Damas has presented an 18-c luxury gold watch for women by Jaquet Droz, L'Heure Celeste.

Part of the Hommage Paris 1785 series, the timepiece features a galaxy of gold planets and a bezel and comes in a 41mm gold watchcase with a 68 hour power reserve.

Tawhid Abdullah, Damas Jewellery managing director, commented: "A watch connoisseur and art lover's dream, Jaquet Droz's watches blend superior mechanical precision with minimalistic allure, based on the design principle of 'less is more'."

Damas has also unveiled the Jaquet Droz Date Astrale, inspired by the heavens and by the nature of Polynesia.

The Date Astrale and L'Heure Celeste watch collections will soon be available at Damas Les Exclusives Boutiques in the Middle East.

Founded in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland in 1738, Jaquet-Droz was purchased by the Swatch Group in 2004.
