A new collection of gold jewellery has been unveiled by leading Italian brand Luca Carati in the UAE.

Ginza comprises handcrafted pendant chains and rings featuring semi-precious and precious stones in gold settings, Fibre 2 Fashion reports.

The "highly feminine" collection combines bold design with delicate elements and is named after a famous region of Tokyo, which was established during the 17th century.

Now one of the most fashionable shopping destinations in Japan, the Ginza range is inspired by the Orient.

Gianluca Buttini, chief executive of Luca Carati, told the news source: "We are positive that Ginza's Oriental appeal will be much appreciated by our growing number of fans in the Middle East."

The collection is now available from Damas Les Exclusives Boutiques in the UAE.

In other UAE gold jewellery news, Australian company Equss Jewellery recently selected the Sunset Mall in the upscale Jumeirah neighbourhood of Dubai as the location for a new boutique.
