Thursday, 28th May 2009 (1557 views) A white gold butterfly necklace is set to be one of the main attractions at a charity event being held in Scarborough next week.The piece has been designed by Peter Brewer Goldsmiths and will be awarded to the winner of a prize draw at the Butterfly Ball, the Scarborough Evening News reports. Taking place on Saturday June 6th, the ball will raise money for St Catherine's Hospice and coordinator Jane Richardson paid tribute to Peter Brewer after he donated the 18-c necklace. "We are extremely grateful to Peter for making us such an especially-designed and valuable item, which will always remind the winner of their Butterfly Ball," she was quoted as saying. Meanwhile, jeweller Lauren Klein has suggested gold pieces as graduation gifts, noting that quality items that the recipient "will cherish" can be ideal for the "special occasion". Sarah Leight, manager at the company, recommended its yellow gold honeycomb necklace pendant in particular.
