Thursday, 30th July 2009 (1114 views) A number of high-profile celebrities are lining up to buy gold jewellery from Hoorsenbuhs's line of bespoke pieces. This is according to Sandra Ballentine of the New York Times's TMagazine, who says the Hoorsenbuhs atelier in Los Angeles, California, has attracted the attentions of stars such as Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Sir Ben Kingsley, Rihanna and Mary J Blige. "The clients clamouring for these custom baubles aren't just any old luxury lovers," she notes. Ms Ballentine adds that the jewellery brand's bespoke business accounts for 40 per cent of its total sales, with some of the highlights of its collection including its gold tri-link chain necklaces, Phantom cuffs and stackable Phantom Clique rings. All of Hoorsenbuhs's gold products are made with 18-c gold or higher and visits to its Los Angeles workshop can only be made via a pre-arranged appointment. The brand's owner, Robert Keith, has previously featured in Vogue magazine as one of its jewellery designers to watch, according to National Jeweler.
