Hollywood stars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were spotted in gold jewellery at the recent New York premiere of Quentin Tarantino's latest film, Inglourious Basterds.

Jolie was seen wearing a large gold cocktail ring topped with a ruby and diamonds and delicate gold hoop earrings, according to the International Business Times (IBT).

Pitt, meanwhile, wore a large square gold ring, making the couple appear "in sync" in terms of accessories, the publication said.

"The pair looked glamorous, even glorious," the IBT remarked.

Both Jolie and Pitt appear to be fans of gold jewellery, judging by their previous purchases.

Pitt reportedly bought a gold ring for Jolie last year, while the actress has been seen wearing luxury gold pieces by Bochic, Neil Lane, Frank Gehry and other high-end designers at A-list events like the Golden Globes, the Oscars and the SAG Awards in the past.

Inglourious Basterds topped the UK box office upon its release earlier this month.
